Fall semester at Theo Chocolate’s Chocolate University is beginning September 29th with new classes and even more delicious Theo Chocolate at every step of the way. All Classes are Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm
Making, Tasting, Perfecting: We will take you inside the factory and explain the detailed inner workings of all of Theo’s chocolate making equipment. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to see our traditional European chocolate making equipment in action while we taste chocolate ingredients through all of the stages of processing bean to bar. We will end in our confections kitchen for a ganache making demo and a tasting of some of our finest confections.
Tasting Like A Pro: Bring your appetite! Our food scientist Abby Culin will walk you through an extensive ‘tour de taste’ of many of Theo’s finest chocolates and confections. Learn to taste chocolate like a true connoisseur as she describes in depth, specific qualities of mouth feel, temper, balance, and finish. By the time you leave you will have the knowledge to pick out the right chocolate for any tasting or pairing event.
Beyond Dessert: We explore chocolate beyond dessert as our very own chef Chad Fuhreck sets the table with a four course savory chocolate exploration. He will walk you through his menu and recipes as well as give hints as to how to use chocolate in your own savory creations. Exotic/Erotic: Our grand finale, we explore the exotic and erotic side of chocolate with special guests from Babeland. Then we move into a hands on demonstration of chocolate lotions, scrubs, and facial masks. Finally our sexy instructors will demonstrate more creative uses of chocolate like body painting, sensual eating, and talk about the real properties of chocolate and love.
