This past weekend we taught thousands of people how to make chocolate at the Pacific Science Center. Theo Chocolate's Nathan and Autumn looked awesome in their lab coats! We roasted nibs to perfume the air with the intoxicating scent of cacao and let participants grind the beans in the mortar and pedestal.
Also, for all you "cacaoheads" out there, there are two young theobroma cacao trees in the butterfly room with beautiful blooming flowers. We encourage everyone to go and visit.
