largest celebrations of microfinance in the world, this annual fundraiser
Luncheon supports Seattle-based nonprofit Global Partnerships in expanding
opportunity for people living in poverty. Join over 1,200 civic and business
leaders at this signature event which supports innovative solutions that help
people help themselves. Speakers this year include Costco CEO and Co-founder Jim
Sinegal along with Dolores Maritza Jiménez, a microloan recipient from El
Salvador who will share how the small store she runs with the help of
microfinance is providing a better life for her family. Global Partnerships
supports microfinance in seven countries in Central and South America with a
focus on reaching under served populations, especially women and the rural poor.
